Who I am

What I collect

When you request a quote on this website I collect the service you need, your name, phone number, postcode and anything else you choose to tell me. If you call or email me, I keep the details you give me so that I can help.

How I use it

I use your details only to reply to your enquiry, arrange a visit, give you a quote and carry out any work you ask me to do. I do not send marketing messages and I never sell your information.

My lawful basis is that you have asked me to respond to you, and handling your enquiry is a step towards a possible contract with you. Where I carry out work, I keep records I need for the job and for my legal and tax obligations.

Who sees it

Only me. Enquiries are stored on my website, which is hosted by GoDaddy, and sent to me by email. These providers store the data on my behalf and are not allowed to use it for anything else.

How long I keep it

I keep enquiry details only for as long as I need them. If no work goes ahead, I delete them within 12 months. If I do carry out work, I keep job and invoice records for as long as the law requires.

Cookies

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Its typeface is loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google’s servers when you view the site.

Your rights

You can ask me for a copy of the information I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Just call or email me. If you are unhappy with how I have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
